Who We Are

Seven Seed Sowers Co-op is a non-profit organization in Dayton, Ohio, that supports beginning and BIPOC farmers and gardeners while addressing food insecurity. We manage community gardens, which serve as living classrooms and food sources. Our skill-share workshops offer hands-on learning experiences in sustainable agriculture. Additionally, we operate a seed library to preserve biodiversity and promote the use of locally adapted plant varieties. Join us as we sow the seeds of change for a brighter future.

What We Do

We work to fight hunger, educate others, and give back to the greater Dayton community. We work with several farmers and local growers to grow produce to give to those in need. The produce we handle is distributed to those in need in the community.
We also provide recipe sharing for those who want to explore new dishes.

Why We Do It

To Better Our Community

We work to ensure that everyone in the Dayton area has access to fresh and healthy food. In the area 29.4% of households with children are affected by food hardships. We are fighting to lower that number and ensure no child is left behind.
